Topic: Getting to know you/E-safety
The aim of this session is to allow students to get to know each other through interactive activities and simultaneously, learn about E-safety and explore ways of being safe online. Also, describe your town and city to give other students an idea of your area and neighbourhood. This session will also prompt learners to discuss 10 different scenarios in relation to e-safety and come up with resolving solutions in various situations. Furthermore, these activities will enable students to get to know each other using the breakout rooms function on MS Teams.
Lesson Objectives:
- To introduce ourselves and give personal information to other students using present simple and verb to be – am/is/are
- To form ‘Wh’ type open questions to ask for information
- To identify various social media apps available and its purpose
- To talk about preferences in using social media apps using the grammar – gerund, I prefer using, I like playing, I adore researching,..etc
- To identify E-Safety rules
- To discuss 10 different scenarios in relation to e-safety
